Internship Opportunities as a Student in the UAE

Finding internship opportunities as a student, especially at a time when gaining experience during your education is becoming increasingly important for university applications and future career opportunities, can honestly feel like a challenge in the UAE. When you start searching, many opportunities are aimed at people who are 18 or older, university students, or applicants who already have specific qualifications and experience that may be unattainable for the average school student. This can make it difficult for younger students who want to explore different careers, gain experience, and learn what working in a professional environment is actually like. It can also make it harder to discover the type of career or work environment that you would genuinely enjoy pursuing in the future.

That is why I was so excited when I discovered Learndustry. Finally, I found an opportunity that feels accessible to students who are eager to gain experience and take their first steps into the professional world. What stood out to me the most was the flexibility to choose where I want to intern. I haven't come across many opportunities that give students this kind of freedom to explore an environment or department that genuinely interests them. Many opportunities tend to focus heavily on STEM-related fields, which can make it harder for students interested in other areas to find relevant experience.

I am really excited to begin my journey with Learndustry and see where this experience takes me. I hope to gain valuable skills, learn from professionals, explore my interests, and build a better understanding of the career paths available to me. Most importantly, I am excited to finally have an opportunity to gain real-world experience at a stage when finding these opportunities can be so difficult, while also building my CV and developing skills that I can carry with me into the future.
